I just got in was on sale, but after reading some reviews I don''t think I will unpack it.Apparently big problems with installing software ect.Wondering if anyone here has had the same issues?

can''t say i''ve used that exact model, but i did recently buy the hp photosmart c4480 all-in-one which has been fabulous. it was super easy to install, no problems so far. at my last job we used only hp printers, and in my experience they are generally quite user-friendly and relatively low-hassle.

We bought the HP C7200 about 4 months ago and no problems at all to install.

The software issues should be fixed by now. I think it had to do with Vista when it first came out. However, the ink is a problem. It runs when wet and people have complained about it, including myself. So if your hand is sweating a little bit or if you just held a glass of water with som condensation on it you have a good chance of running the ink which is not really good. This ink series has had a problem and many bad reviews. So printing pictures is a waste because they may not last and printing things you need for a long time is a risk becasue you may get it wet.... Also, the ink cartridges run out quickly and you need them all to have ink in them or the printer will not print. Does not really make sense but it is great for HP because you need to buy more ink lol.....My 7250 printer now sits in the closet and I ended getting another brand.

I have had 2 different HP "All In One" printers and have NOT been impressed. I''m not sure about the 7250 in particular, but I know several other people who have had issues with their HPs as well. I think the printer hardware on your computer gets corrupted or something and it causes big probs

I have the HP psc 1315xi all-in-one and I love it. It''s an older model that I''ve have for quite a while but it works like a charm and the ink last forever.

Thanks to everyone: yes I also have one HP ( very old can only print) and have never had any issues with it.I think its this particular model C 7250 that has issues.Maybe these are easy to deal with for people who are more knowledgeable.

My husband does technical support for computers and he can''t even fix our HP printer.

ditto I hate hp all-in-ones
There laser printers are the best available and some of the pro-line ink-jets are ok but the all-in-ones are problematic.

Thanks again.Somehow it makes me feel a bit better knowing that more people have issues with it.After reading what others said about this model in reviews I had my doubts.I don''t have the time, patience or knowledge to figure out software that others had problems with.Got it on sale and its going back.It has not been unpacked so it should not be a problem.thanks for your help.

The only time I have ever used anything other than HP was at school and even at school we had to option of HP or Canon. Personally, I feel like HP has the best printer technology and Lexmark is a close second.

We really haven''t had any issues with our printer. It does a great job. One thing I noticed was that I was just buying the regular cartridges and I started buying the XL inks and they last forever.
