How would you set a heart shaped colored stone?

I'm wondering how you would choose to set a heart shaped stone?

I don't need anymore rings, so I'd probably opt for a necklace. I'd especially consider a bezel set with a milgrain edge.

Explain, or add pictures, of what you'd consider for a heart stone for yourself.

Definitely a pendant - I prefer heart shaped stones in pendants (usually). The setting would depend on the size of the stone.

I would personally think of setting one in a double bezel pendant (dependent on if the stone is happy to take it, of course)

I'm really getting behind the idea of a tiny diamond halo with a slight airline; a modified version of the Leon design.

But I'm still attracted to the idea of a BGD Barbara type millegrained bezel. Hmmmm.....

I've only found two ideas out there. The bezeled stone would need a finer bezel, and the pink stone would be gorgeous with a tiny yellow diamond halo.
