How would you set a 6.5mm H&A moissanite?

I have a lovely 6.5 mm Tianyu H&A moissanite that has been sitting in my jewelry box for nearly a year now. I’m looking for inspiration on how to set it. I love vintage settings, especially target rings, but alas, nothing from Ivy & Rose seems to be made for 6.5 mm. Sometimes I think I’d want a simple solitaire, but the truth is those I have rarely make the rotation.
So, any suggestions for a girl who has champagne tastes in a beer budget?

I have asked Ivy & Rose if they can make a setting for a different size stone and been told they can.
I haven't inquired about specific settings, but it may be worth a few minutes of your time to contact them regarding settings you like and see if it's possible.
They also can customize the metal, in case you were wondering.
They were quickly responsive via their facebook page, by the way.

They can always customize settings from ivy and rose. Unfortunately, it brings costs up a bit, so the settings aren't quite as affordable that way. I'll take a look!

Let me know what you find... I’ve asked for a custom quote from them before, but when I got the quote, the price was so much higher I just couldn’t justify it. Their stuff is pretty, but the gram weight on the gold is pretty light imo.

I don't think Esdomera sets outside stones, but you could ask if they could send a setting and have you take it (plus stone) to a local jeweler:'
