How to work out individual carat weight of eternity

Hi

I have a 1.20 tcw diamond ring with 7 equal sized stones, how do I work out the individual carat weight of the stones. Do I simply divide the total by 7??
Basic question, I know, but I am a novice

and trying to figure all this stuff out.

Yes, it''s just a basic math problem.

1.20 divided by 7 = roughly .171

So each stone is .17 carat.
