Yes, a black light will work. In fact, I attached a photo that I just took 2 minutes ago. The left is a diamond with faint fluoro. The right is a CZ with no fluoro. I don't have a diamond with no fluoro (yet). It's actually a lot more obvious in real life than in the photo.

Thanks! I guess I need to get the flashlight. All I see under the black light is purple sparkles!
 
It helps for the room to be somewhat dark, too. I also got a uv penlight from Amazon for under $10.
