How to use???

How do you use the red and blue foil that ships with the magnifying glass provided by James Allen and Whiteflash when you purchase a loose diamond?

I would have thought someone would know? Neither JA or WF send instructions, but inside the barrel of their provided 10x viewers is this red and blue foil. I'll ask them as well.

Those are hearts and arrows viewers. Looking at the top of the diamond through the viewer will show you the arrows view and looking at the underside of the diamond with it will show you the hearts view.

Thanks. I talked to WF. It guess you can switch the red or blue foil and make it work, but I tried it, and you have to have so much ambient light around your face to make it happen, it doesn't really work. Oh well. I thought I would ask.
