how to post pictures?

I have pictures of the ring many here helped me to decide on but every time I try to post I get an error. They are Jpegs but are large. How do I resize to make them fit? I don''t have a digital camera the ones I have were taken by the jeweler from start to finish of the ring. Any advice would be appreciated?

You can decrease the size of the pictures using MS Paint (standard Windows) accessory) or any other image editing program.

You probably need to lower the resolution to 72px and/or decrease image size (length & width).
