Would a 1.2%(.9-1.5)girdle be considered too thin on a .91 carat diamond?

Thanks,
Michelle

Thats exactly what the girdle % is for my stone (1.552ct). It didnt bother me one bit. Just be sure to get a secure setting. I got a 4 prong & had my ring insured. I enjoy it everyday & dont think about chipping or any other defects that **could** go wrong.

I see lots of diamonds with girdles at 0.7% and these are in ideal cut branded diamonds.

Regarding Iceman's picture is it not okay if only a small part of the girdle is very thin or extremely thin? I thought I read that somewhere on the boards.

Hi Michelle,
Your girdle is just fine. It might be thin but thin is ok!
