How thick is your plain band?

How many mm does it sit off your finger? I''m not in an area where I can try on a lot of bands, but I''d really like a plain palladium or platinum band so I''m doing a bit of PS shopping.

I have a 3mm wide and 1.5mm thick plain platinum band. I''ve had a 3mm wide and 2mm thick band and that''s a nice substantial ring as well, but I couldn''t get used to the thickness. I believe the Tiffany Lucida 3mm band is about 1.7mm thick.

Mine is about 3mm by 2mm and thus a little taller than most. Despite being pipe cut, I don''t generally find it to be uncomfortable.
