How often do you clean your diamond jewelry?

Obviously you probably clean the stuff you wear often the most, like rings, but how often do you clean your diamond jewelry? For example, maybe you clean your ring every week but your pendant/earrings every two weeks. Also, how do you clean your diamonds? Does anyone use the Godard's cleaner?

I clean all my diamond jewelry that I wear daily every week. Windex, dish soap and a little brush.

If I wear it, I clean it that day. I never put jewelry away dirty or put it on dirty!

I do my cleaning routine about everyother day...I can be pretty obsessive over my diamonds being cleaned.

Ditto. I clean my diamonds after every wearing.

Rings, every day - they go in the cleaning solution while I'm brushing my teeth, and get the baby toothbrush once I'm done with the big-girl toothbrush. Earrings and pendant get cleaned, hm, maybe once a week? I take the earrings out at night, so they don't get too schmutzed up.

Maybe with pave settings.

Ering is the only diamond I own so far....

I've been cleaning 2-3x per week. Currently soaking in hot water and Palmolive before scrubbing with an electric toothbrush, though I'm worried about doing damage to the prongs/setting. Anyone have any definitive info about using an electric toothbrush to clean solitaire settings?? :errrr:

I clean my ring more than once a day.
It only takes half a minute because it's in a tension setting.

Practically everyday for every item. I don't have an US. I read somewhere that it's not good for pave settings. Anyway, I use a baby toothbrush, hot or boiling water and washing up liquid. That does the trick nicely! :twirl:

Occasionally, I pop into my local jeweller's to have my non-pave pieces cleaned with their US cleaner. I love how well it cleans but I still don't want to buy one yet.

Every day just about with the Sparkle Sparkle spray and warm water.

Every few days with Mr. Clean, Hot Water, Ultrasonic.

Every week I steam it.

I've only had my e-ring a little over a week and I've been cleaning it pretty much every day. I just do a daily quick brushing with a dab of Dawn and warm water. I use one of those lint-free microfiber cloths for eyeglasses to dry it and give it a quick polish. I plan on doing more thorough cleanings with a soak once a week along with my studs. So far, it's been working out well for me.

I only wear my diamond studs maybe 3-5 days of the week. I never sleep with them on and I only clean them once a week with a soak in warm water and Dawn followed by a good brushing.

Is there some special technique you ladies have for putting lotion on your hands? How do you avoid getting your e-ring all mucky without taking it off?

Diamond Dazzle Stik is the best product I have EVER used on my diamonds! It makes them sparkle like crazy, has stuff in it that is good for your skin too! & It is suppose to help scratches on your precious metals. :) Google it they sell it online as well as in stores.

So do I, especially in summer time with perspiration and moisturizers etc. I can't put my things away with any type of residue on them.

Wow, and here my mother teased me for cleaning my e-ring once a week... I just soak it in rubbing alcohol, since it isn't white gold and has no pave or detailing. If I remembered to take it off more, I'd probably clean it every day!
