How much should I budget for custom setting a sapphire?

I'm looking for just a simple rose gold setting, no side stones. The sapphire is not calibrated. I was thinking of going with Mark from BE or David Klass, but I'd like to know what's reasonable so that I don't give them a laughably small budget. I think I've underestimated how much it might cost. :\ Any advice appreciated!

Is you're thinking about a super simple setting why do you find a stuller rose gold setting. I'm assuming that it's a somewhat standard shape even if it's not calibrated.

Otherwise I'd budget somewhere on the lower $1-2k range if it's just a simple solitaire
