Two questions:
1. What sort of price range should one expect for an Eighternity, 1.50 - 1.99 carat range, H or better, SI2 or better, excellent cut?

2. Does anyone have any insight into how much of a premium an Eighternity commands over a Round Brilliant, so long as all else is equal, in the 1.5 to 2.0 carat range?

Thanks!

I don''t know the exact answer, but you could probably find out very easily.

GOG has this stone. Check it out, then give them a call to see what the price is. My guess is Eighternity doesn''t want their prices all over the Internet. Once they give you an idea, you can use the "Search by Cut" tool on Pricescope to see what a regular ideal cut costs from similar vendors. This will hopefully give you an idea of what your premium would be.

I too don''t know the exact answer to your question either. Eighternity is a branded stone, and is a newer line diamond with more facets. They are cut to exacting standards and there is most definitely a premium you will pay over a comparably cut standard round diamond.

To me, the extra facets create smaller flashes and are too busy for my taste. Other people on the other hand love them. You''ll have to decide if the extra facets and higher premium are worth it to you.

Best wishes........

I like stones with published prices.
I get the feeling when they decide on that published price that they take into account all the competition.
This assures you of a . . . competitive. . . price.

When you have to privately ask the price you lose this advantage.

The beauty of the Intnernet is that it has introduced transparency into the process.

I'm not saying don't buy an Eighternity, they are beautiful.
I am not saying they are overpriced or the vendor is doing anything improper.
I'm just saying understand there may be a "Privacy Price Premium" for these compared to, say, an ACA.

I own a Solasfera, which also does not publish price, and love it but all my future round diamonds will be Whiteflash ACAs.
