How much is too much contrast?

In other images from JA, there was far more darkness than ASET 'blue-black', or similar in person ... I trust the ASET more for evaluating this. Of course, nothing beats seeing the one diamond (especially with quite a few more having been seen).

No, not too much contrast. It has a beautiful faceting pattern. Wish you could get an aset.
I'd probably get it and check it out in person.

You can buy your own aset...

I would compare the amount of blue-black in these to the same in the arrows of H&A rounds ... There is somewhat more in he 1.53, but I prefer its pattern by allot.

Beautiful diamonds, both ...

I really like the faceting on the first one. And neither ASETs dissuade me, both ate very nice!

Both are nice. I like the faceting on the 1.53. That pattern and contrast will be beautiful.

LOVE the 1.53, it's such a pretty pattern. That ASET is gorgeous

Love the pattern of the 1.53! Beautiful stone!

Does one have more shine then the other more sparkle?

No. They are both going to have great light return. They are both modern cushion with lots of small facets...so lots of small flashes and fire. The difference I'm seeing is the facet pattern.

P.s. I love cushions, but they will be less firey than a ideal PS round.

i LOVE the first one (1.53), the faceting is just so unique. Great light return on both of those though, i don't really think you can go wrong with either one.

What setting are you considering?
