It's great, isn't it?

Thanks tomatoe!

I love it, it lets me see the beauty of the rings and diamonds in a real environment rather than the jewelry store. I'm in awe at the diamonds posted on the site

, even in the worst of lighting environments the diamonds shines everywhere. It's been fun look at all the rings and getting ideas for what type of setting I wanted as well.

Keep up the great posts

Tomatoe and Josh did a great job!

I also set up an e-rings gallery. I thought it might be easier to browse. Please report me the pictures/posts that should be added into it.

Also if you, guys, have any suggestions on how to organize it (structure, categories, foldering, etc), let's talk about it.

Leonid, what a great idea..
Is this going to replace the current thread and is this going to be open for PS members to post as well?

Leonid,

I feel these should be included, in no particular order:
1. carat, shape, colour, clarity
2. all stone specification (table, depth, pavilion, etcetc) supplied by user
3. setting info, custom or otherwise (if supplied)
4. link to the thread(s)
5. user name
6. ring size (if supplied)
7. vendor or place of purchase, online or off (if supplied)

Katbadness, since I'm doing most of the updating, it's easier for me to keep track of those I've posted in and those I haven't and to update the existing entries with new pics and info if they come in.

I do come across entries where I've entered some wrong info and I also wonder if I ever miss out on any postings.

It is not going to replace the "Eye-candy thread". Just thought it can be easier to browse the pictures.

The problem is that pictures for the gallery should be formated and optimized in order to look good. Not everybody has this ability. Besides it doesn't have a user database... so it would be a bit complicated to give everybody to post there.

I was thinking that we can suggest the best or the most interesting pictures and stories for the gallery (there might be some other possibilities of course).

We can include this info but perhaps it should be optional because it is about different ering' designs, not diamonds.

Agree

Absolutely

6. ring size (if supplied)

Good but maybe optional

7. vendor or place of purchase, online or off (if supplied)

Optional (IMO)

I posted better photos in my ering thread.

No idea on specs. Probably could go find out.
But Im lazy.

Set in a 6 prong Stuller Platinum Solstice Solitaire head on a 3 mm Stuller Platinum Heavy Comfort Fit band. (Custom I guess)

Ring size, 5.5 with two little bars on the inside of the band to minimize spinning.
