How much detail or information goes in an appraisal?
Do they just copy the specs off the GIA certificate?
Do they comment on anything perfect or not perfect on the stone?
Should they comment if there are any chips, or marks?
Or does it just show the value?
How do you know if it is a legitimate appraisal of a stone, or just a marked up one to get you to think it is worth more than it is worth?
