how much are you paying for gas in your area?

Just heard on NPR this evening that it's almost $5.00 a gallon for regular in some places in California. Yikes!

I didn't realize this thread was from early 2011, and I was shocked at how "cheap" gas was. Ha.

I believe it's $4.09 here, in Nevada.

It's much the same here as it was when I posted in Feb. Last price I remember seeing is $1.49/liter. Around $5.95-6.00/gallon.

$4.69 here in San Diego too... jumped up almost overnight from $4.19. Thank God I drive a Civic and work 6 miles from home!

I'm from the Bay Area too and just came back from a road trip through Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona where the most expensive gas was $3.79 and ranged as low as $3.49. Talk about a price difference!

In my area, today it was $1.27/litre.
1 litre = .26417 (bla bla bla) gallon, so 4 litres to a gallon = $5 ish... HOLY CRAP!!!

saw it for $4.69 yesterday at the cheapest station around here. To quote Enerchi, "holy crap!".
I am very grateful to have bought that new Mazda three weeks ago, it gets nearly double the mpg that the Pacifica did, but there goes the expected savings.
