How low can I go?

I''m very close to making a diamond purchase and would like to maximize size and fire within my budget ($6500-7000). How low, with an ideal cut, can I go with color and still have the stone appear white?

i just bought an ideal cut, H&A that was an H in color and it looks beautiful. me personally, i wouldn't go any lower than an H, but some people here would probably say no lower than an "I". best of luck with what you choose!

can u tell more about the stone? Im looking at an H&A AGS Triple 0 diamond...H color IF clarity
