How long have you been on Pricescope??

I've been around for quite a while... 7.5 years(?) on this username...and more on another. I don't post much but I lurk regularly. It is kind of weird to think about the different "stages" I've gone through.

It's true. I found out about Alistra a few years ago. She has been a well hidden little secret!!!

Deb, yes I am a Unitarian Universalist complete with a flaming chalice pendant. It is one of the few pieces of yellow gold that I wear. In fact, hubby and I went to a social action meeting at our Fellowship today. Good stuff

For those who have PS anniversaries coming up, happy anniversary!

I've been here for almost 5 years (as of Dec. 29, 2006). I had lurked for a few months before joining, and I found PS while I was looking for engagement ring inspiration and information on diamonds. I've learned so much since being here.

Hey hey, in two weeks it will be four years. Somehow it seems longer? I've made lots of friends here, although I think most of those friends regret meeting me.

7 years next month and lurked about a 1.5 years before that. Came finding an alternative to the Lucida, which was huge at the time.

If you had asked me back then that I would have stayed around for nearly a decade (if you include my lurking days in 2003) on a diamond forum, I'd have said you were insane. Now it's crazy for me to think that I wouldn't have had PS for countless threads of entertainment over the years.

So, I just did the math...over 7 years for me.

It's been an evolution for me. My posting has slowed down after the first couple of years.

My diamond buying has sped up...though not by PS standards. In the last half year, along with dropping a ton of weight, my wife pierced her ears...causing my next next intentional diamond...studs.

We'll see what comes next.

Almost 4 years! I joined in January 2008 while searching for engagement rings. Went through an engagement that spring, ended up breaking off that engagement later that year, and currently have a ring in BF's possession waiting for him to pop the question. I lurk more than I post, but PS has certainly been influential in my life!

I lurked for over 3 years before registering! I found PS in January of 2008, when I was disappointed not to have received a holiday proposal. That relationship ended a few months later but I continued to lurk on SMTR. I signed up in July of this year when my now-FI was ready to purchase a diamond

November 3, 2009, found PS by Googling "Pala", but at first I was too scared to post. Which BTW happens at many other forums, I am usually a silent member. I never planned to use my current screen name, just used it to to register, and I do not like my screen name at all. Everywhere else I use a name which is much closer to my interests.

You know you can change it for a good reason like that, doctor crasru! And in the beginning you can use a caption telling people that you are the poster who used to be known as, "crasru". I believe it is Logan Sapphire who did that. One just has to clear it with the admininistration (obviously). I encourage you to use a name you love. I was thinking the same thing when Tacori E-ring said she wouldn't have chosen her name if she knew how long she'd be here! I don't know why people feel they can change icons constantly (which I never do), but never change USER IDs, even for the best reasons on earth!

I was looking for a new avatar that would match my name but my son loves my current avatar so much... I am going to give myself a couple of days, catch a deep breath and shoot a message to the mods. And leave my old avatar for a while, because if it brings joy to a kid, who cares if it matches my new name?

It will be nine years for me in the beginning of February. That's so hard to believe! I didn't post a word for the first few years. I think I've only been a contributing member for about five years. Pricescope was a scarey place when I first started reading.
