How fragile are the corners of a princess diamond?

Just wondering if they break easily or not. I know diamonds are hard stones but how tough are the corners? Anyone have experience with princess diamonds chipping or any durable stories to share?

I've read enough posts here on PS where the owners discovered a chipped tip several years later to put me off princess cuts.

To add, there is a thread on here right now where an appraiser discovered a chip to one of the points on a princess diamond.
