Did a lot of research for a couple weeks but didn't want to go about $7,000 for the entire ring. I ended up spending $6,950. Started out with cheaper lower color rated diamonds. This was the best value G rated color diamond I could find rated by GIA.

Cut wise looks great, unfortunately it is cloudy, clearly visible in the video. The report confirms. Never buy an SI diamond that looks too clean, it's got that grade for a reason.

I expect this diamond to look less crisp than one without diffuse clouds as the primary inclusion.

Please post before you buy, your budget, reserve a stone and ask before going ahead, easier that way around!

For your budget drop to an H, difference is minimal. Your G is cheap because it's cloudy

This is what I could find in budget after a quick look (with wire and JA advantage discount. Ask if twinning twisp under table is eye clean, much higher chance of being so compared to the other stone.

I hope you can appreciate the difference in crispness in the video. A cloudy effect is much more obvious in real life than on video

Thank you for the response. Yes I for some reason ignored the bit of cloudiness to it. Not sure why. Looked at hundreds of these and for some reason this one spoke to me.

It's shipping today. I'll just let it charge me and inspect it in person and if it's not up to snuff I'll send it back

If you don't have experience with diamonds you may not realise what you're missing on so be sure to compare it to other well cut cleaner stones, such as your nearest hearts on fire vendor
