How do you wear your wedding band with halo e-ring?

With the popularity of halo e-rings, I can''t be the only one having trouble trying to find a wedding band to go with it right? I tried on some bands for the first time since I got engaged in June, and the look is worse than I had anticipated

I would really like to wear them together for sentimental reasons, but not quite sure how I would be able to achieve that without going with curved/custom band. I''m really not partial to that idea but will consider it if it''s my only option.

I''m thinking about a spacer, 2mm WG band with 1mm thickness that''ll actually fit UNDER my halo and then I''ll be able to wear another band next to it. Is this a crazy idea? I tried this by turning my RHR upside down (it has plain underside) and it''s surprisingly not that uncomfortable and looks ok.

Can I see everyone''s halo e-ring with their wedding band? Or do you wear them on different hand or wedding the wedding band alone?

I just kept trying on different ones until I finally found it. I know other people wear the halo alone and the WB on their RH. Just wanted you to know that it can be done but it may take awhile. Don''t give up if you really want both on the same finger.

Your set, along with a few others I''ve seen here, are my inspirations for my wedding band. They''re not matchy-matchy, yet go so well together in a very unique way. The gap on your set doesn''t look awkward at all and that''s sort of what I was hoping for with mine, but with the bands I tried on yesterday the gap was just a total eye sour

I have a halo e-ring and I wear my wedding band on my right hand. I wear the WB alone on my left if I''m doing some activity or going somewhere where I''d worry about damage/ theft of my e-ring. In my case any band detracts from my e-ring when worn together, plus I don''t mind gaps but have yet to find a ring that would really look right with my e-ring anyway.

I have a friend with a halo that just wears it alone. IMO, you could totally get away with that ring as a stand-alone ring. Otherwise, hmmmm. If you don''t like the gap, you''d probably need to have something made.

Your setting is high enough that I bet they could make something that would snuggle right up and be really dainty for you.

I''m still voting for wearing it as a stand alone, LOL.

Also- keep in mind that your eye is used to seeing it by itself. It took me ages to get used to the look of my original solitaire + band.

Your e-ring is pretty -- halo''s are my all-time favorites. Some e-ring halo''s are made with an open space under the halo so that a wedding ring fits underneath and snuggles up against the shank. Your e-ring has an enclosed basket and split shank giving a curved contour to the ring edges, so I doubt a spacer would really make a difference in how a w-band would fit -- the spacer and band would be flush with each other, still leaving a gap an both sides of the halo basket.

My first choice would be to wear the rings on separate hands -- that e-ring is quite ornate and able to stand on its own. Plus if you wear on separate hands, you can get a more substantial diamond w-band to stand on its own.

For my second choice, I would get a plain w-band and stack it with the e-ring and be okay with the gap.

I would not get a diamond band to wear on the same hand because the e-ring is so ornate and covered with diamonds, the contrast of a plain band won''t be competing or take away from the e-ring.
I would not do a curved band because that will add mass to the e-ring and detract from the daintiness of the split shank.

A final choice would be to use your e-ring as a w-ring too (both combined into one like Marilyn Monroe did with her eternity ring)!

But I think your ring looks perfect as is! A wedding band would detract the profile view and get in the way. Just like how Leon doesn''t like to have bands hit the sides of his pave, I think a band would take away from the detail of those side diamonds.

What if you got a matching band to your hubby''s- and wore it on the RIGHT HAND?

I''m just really sentimental about these things so if at all possible I''d love to wear 2 rings together. My friend who just got married wears her eternity band on her left hand and no longer wears her e-ring. Made me wonder if she didn''t love her e-ring as much as I do mine (she didn''t pick it out herself) or if it wasn''t very practical to wear on a daily basis. I absolutely love my e-ring and it''s actually quite comfortable so not wearing it will not even cross my mind.

Funny thing is, initially we were going to have a long engagement (2-3 years at least) so I figured I wouldn''t worry about wedding rings for some time. We''re now talking about eloping which means we can be married before the end of the year!

I wear my e-ring solo, and have a plain w-band to wear when I''m doing things where I don''t want to wear the e-ring (travelling, gardening, swimming, gym class, etc.)

I am no expert, but I doubt you''ll find a band to wear on the same hand that won''t somehow take away from your ering. I do like that rose gold one, maybe you should try something like that on just to see. The thing is, your ering is so perfect and ornate that it doesn''t WANT any competition or back-up

I know you really want to wear both on the same hand, but if that doesn''t work out, I vote for a gorgeous WIDE band with both rose gold and white (or platinum, whichever yours is) to compliment it nicely from your right hand. It needs diamonds too, of course! Just my opinion

I have a halo that sits pretty low, and my wedding band is a sapphire and diamond band. It doesn''t really "match" but I like it that way.

Your ring is gorgeous- I agree with the others that I would either get a very simple plain band or try the one that someone posted that was slightly curved and rose gold. That is a beautiful band!

I had the hardest time with this, I didn''t like anything with my ER. By not trying to "match" it, it helped. Don''t give up, you''ll find something. But in the meantime, if you elope, just get a plain band.
