I am just curious if most women only wear their engagement ring or do they wear their wedding bands along with their engagement rings on the same finger? Do some people intentionally wear just the engagement ring to make the diamond look bigger? Also, how often do you guys wear your ring? All the time or do you take it off when you get home?

I have one e-ring and three wedding bands (plain band, diamond band, sapphire band). I wear the e-ring and one or two bands about 50% of the time, a combination of just the bands about 40% of the time and 10% of the time I wear no ring at all. When I''m at home I usually wear no band or a plain band.

I wear an eternity band alone.

Once I have my wedding band, I will wear both together on my left ring finger. I will wear my wedding band at all times (given that it''s the one I''m planning on getting--engraved platinum, no stones), but take off my engagement ring for manual work, shower, and sleep (ditto this for the wedding band if I go with an eternity band instead of the plain).

Here''s a poll I did awhile back that you might be interested in:
Poll: what kind of band(s) do you wear, and when?

A year ago, I wouldn't have dreamed of wearing anything but my engagement ring and wedding band together on my left hand. I'm in love with tradition, and figured I'd never ever wear anything but my w-set because that's the traditional thing to do. I'm not really sure what changed? Maybe too much time on this site ;).

Now I like to mix it up - I absolutely love my e-ring and w-band together, but sometimes I just like a change. I have a milgrain band that matches DH's band that I wear when I'm working out or feeling really casual. Sometimes I pair it with my w-band (a thin 3/4 eternity) - it's still casual but has a little bit of sparkle that way. And, when my jeweler is finished with the sizing (tomorrow, hopefully!), I'll mix my w-band every now and then with a yellow sapphire stacking band that I just purchased. I think I'll especially layer those together when I want to wear yellow gold necklaces or earrings.

Most days, I wear my e-ring and w-band though. I'd say 5 out of 7 days. I no longer wear my rings at night (neither does DH). Sometimes I'll also take them off when I come home after work - lately it's been getting warmer, and my fingers have been swelling, and sometimes I take them off before preparing dinner if I'm doing messy stuff in the kitchen. I never leave our house without a ring on my finger, though!

I wear my ering and wedding together all the time, I eat, sleep and take showers in them, the only time I take them off is when I am working around the house or doing something that will damage them, the only other time I take them off is when me and hubby get into a major fight

I wear the e-ring and wedding band more or less 24/7 (excluding cooking, bathing, etc. for the e-ring), but since they fit on both hands, I tend to switch them around depending on comfort and mood. I do like the look of the e-ring and the wedding band on different hands ... but given my ethnic heritage, the right hand is the default hand for my wedding band. Is there a possibility that this might lead people to believe I''m still engaged, rather than married? Possibly. Do I think it''s a big deal? Nope.

I wear my wedding set everyday. I always wear both rings but I take them off at night, when I shower and when I go to the gym. DH wears his ring 24/7.

I wear my wedding band w/ my solitaire most days. When I''m not wearing those, I wear a 5 stone anniversary band with a 3 stone ring...I always wear 2 rings on my left ring finger.

I always wear both rings on the left ring finger. I take them off before bed and I put them on after I get dressed in the morning. I do not sleep in them because that is extra wear and tear that is so easy to avoid.

I''m not married yet, but I wear my engagement ring anytime I leave the house, unless I''m going to play soccer. For some reason I just have to take off all my jewelry the second I walk in the door of my house.

When I get engaged I''ll probably wear my e-ring and wedding band together most of the time, but I''m planning on getting a wedding band that goes well with my engagement ring. I imagine there might be days when I just wear the wedding band.

Some people just wear their wedding band on their left hand and then wear their e-ring on their right hand, too. Some probably do it the opposite way as well. (E-ring on left, w-band on right.)

There aren''t really any rules, in my opinion!

I wear my ring(s) all the time, with the exception of when I take a shower. I usually do where both rings on my left hand together, but there are days when I wear my three stone alone. The three stone is my anniversary ring that I got from DH last year (10th anniversary) and I have worn it everyday since. I always have to have a ring on my left ring finger...I feel very strange when I do not!

I don''t have a wedding band I wear with my ering. I either wear a plain white gold band (very rare) or my ering (most of the time)

I wear a simple 18k yellow gold band that was my great grandmothers (it still has Sept 23 1909 date inside) as my wedding band. When I go out then I normally slip on my e ring along side my wedding band.
When I do volunteer work in areas that are questionable, I take all jewelry off and wear a simple titanium band.

i''m not married yet but i have my wband and i think i will wear both everyday. i love the way they look together.

but i got a wband that is plain milgrain so that i can wear it by itself when i''m doing things where i don''t want to have to worry about my ering (i.e. going to gym, traveling, etc)

i generally take off my ering and my right hand ring when i am sleeping, taking a shower and working around the house or any projects that need more hands on work.
