How do you like your ice cream?

I love having my ice cream in a waffle cone, but I''m ok with having it in a bowl just fine. I discovered that I absolutely LOVE drizzling honey on it instead of chocolate syrup. Hold the sprinkles and the nuts, just get me some honey and I am good to go! How about you? I''ld love to hear how other PSers like their ice cream!

By the bucket load ....

in my belly

I like it melted and soupy. I''ll stick it in the microwave if need be. Unless it''s vanilla w/chocolate syrup. Then I scoop it normal and pour boiling hot syrup over it. I like the cold/warm mix then. Then I play w/it b/c it makes pretty swirly patterns.

I wish! I am actually lactose sensitive so I can't have too much! But I enjoy every bite when I do eat my 1 cone/scoop a month!

Oof, me too. I find soy ice cream to be good!

The honey and ice cream combo sounds wonderful!

I like it in a bowl. The only things I like with it.. would be gummy bears. I prefer toasted coconut to any other, but my other favorites include strawberry, butter rum, and mint chocolate chip. I like vanilla when I want vanilla. I am not a huge fan of cones, nor have I ever been. I like a spoon. I don''t like when it melts on my hands. I do like when it melts in a bowl and I get to drink it like a milkshake.

Either in a bowl or waffle bowl. I prefer Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla with hot fudge, nuts, and sprinkles.

I like my ice cream best when it has been freshly mixed with toppings, making it soft but still firm, so either from Cold Stone or Marble Slab. And definitely in a cup.

pennquaker, your Blue Bell reference makes me super happy. :)

I like mine at home, in a bowl, softened so that it is slightly soupy. My 4 favorite flavors are Breyers natural vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and mint chocolate chip. If I HAD to top any of those with anything, it would be the vanilla with chocolate Magic Shell, otherwise I''ll take the rest without toppings. I RARELY eat ice cream but those all make my heart sing and my hips grow. Yum!!!

To be honest, I don''t really like icecream all that much.

It''s just too cold and there are so many better yummyer sweet things to choose from.

If I have it it would be just cool rather then cold but still solid, not quite at the icecream soup stage. The one I eat at the moment is a uber expensive (for icecream) dark chocolate organic icecream made loacally which is made of about 50% actual dark chocolate, it''s extreamly rich so you don''t need any more then a small scoop

Me too!!

I love ice cream and it is one of my favorite foods!!
My favorite flavor is french vanilla but I have been known to have a pint of other flavors because I am an equal opportunity ice cream lover.

(I cannot resist Ben and Jerry''s Heath bar crunch...yummmm)

I don''t like any kind of cone. The ice cream makes them
all soggy and nasty.I throw them away when the ice cream
is gone.
I like my ice cream very hard and icy cold.I notice that the "fluffy" textured ice cream doesn''t freeze hard or even taste cold.
Then I like to stir it to the consistency of soft serve.
The only toppings I ever eat are hot fudge on vanilla or
marshmallow on chocolate.

I''m not really a big fan of ice cream unless it is going with something like my peach cobbler I make or a brownie. I LOVE sorbet though, especially cherry

I''m not picky -- bowl, cone, it doesn''t matter. I usually add chocolate sprinkles to mine. If I have it in a bowl, I stir it until it gets soft.

We went out for ice cream the other night and I got a scoop of butter pecan ice cream and a scoop of peanut butter frozen yogurt in a regular cone with chocolate sprinkles.

I like a it with a bucketload of jimmies. In a bowl, so I can get maximum jimmy coating on every bite of ice cream.

When I was a kid, I used to put a big spoonfull of Nestle Quik in a glass, followed by a few scoops of ice cream, and topped off with milk. Kind of like a milk shake. So yummy! My grandmother used to make us root beer floats when we came to visit. Also quite yummy.

Now, a big spoon and a half gallon container work just fine.

Also, anything from Rita''s is fair game! Especially in this Summer heat.

I''m lactose intolerant too, but I''ll only eat "real" ice cream, so I limit myself to a few spoonfuls from some else''s bowl.

I like ice cream straight out of the freezer and still hard. Soupy ice cream is not appealing to me at all!

I also like any type of ice cream with nuts already imbedded like Rocky road, Butter Pecan, Mocha Almond fudge because I''m too lazy to even add toppings!

Smothered in Hot Fudge, banannas and whipped cream!

oooo butter pecan is so good too!

MMmmmmmm.

We eat soy icecream 99% of the time. The SoDelicious Mocha Almond Fudge is yummy just in a bowl or with a bit of homemade caramel drizzled on it or with a little drizzle of melted 86% chocolate.

Gelato is really good too but it''s been a long time.

French vanilla (soy) topped with bannanas that were browned in butter with a bit of brown sugar, currants, and rum.

Vanilla served in an icecream glass layered with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and homemade fudge sauce.

Monnie -- I love Breyer''s too, especially their mint chocolate chip.

We may, just may, have to go out for ice cream tonight.

I like mine in a bowl and as firm as possible. My favorite topping for regular ice cream is liquid whipping cream.

On frozen yogurt like Pinkberry, I like mochi (rice cake) and mixed berries.

Like this!

Oh dear, my favorite dessert. I will eat ice cream plain, in a cone, as a sundae, with cobblers, with cake, with fruit, you name it. Love ice cream!

Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla
with dark chocolate Hershey''s syrup
and a big ol'' handful of walnuts

yummy

Homemade! I love my ice cream maker and pretty much anything that comes out of it. Hubby just polished off the batch of matcha (green tea) ice cream I made last week, so I''m plotting my next flavor.

I usually eat it from a bowl, but if I''m out, I get a cone. Not because I like eating the cone, but because I like holding it. I feel like a little kid.

I''m not a big vanilla fan (unless it has real maple syrup drizzled over it, in which case it''s delicious but mega-sugar-overload). But most of the time, I''m an equal opportunity ice cream eater. Mmmmmmmmm.....

I like it hard. Definitely don't like it soft.

I''ve got to try the gummy bears! And I love it when it''s melted and like a milkshake too!

C-Tek, what is a jimmy?

Half-melted, no toppings.
