There is no INDUSTRY standard for the proportions of a cushion cut stone.

One might however consider a little modification of the round ideal proportions... i.e reasonably size table, decent crown height..( but becaus the facets will vary more on a cushion, once needs to know each individual crown facet's angle.

But even considering the above proportions, won't guarantee a fine light performing pet rock. Fancy shape break all the rules! Some with lousy numbers look just wonderful, and some with great numbers lack the crispness of the light return or sometimes look "dead".

Each stone is an individual and needs to have an expert analyze it for you.
