How do these look for Studs?

I'm having these checked for eye-clarity. Assuming they're eye clean, how do the numbers look? These are from bluenile. I could go for JamesAllen hearts and arrows ideal but those are $610/ea. Whiteflash ACA are roughly $850/ea, so that's a bit more than I want to spend. Even the expert selections are almost $800.

THANKS!

haha, thanks. These will be for a wedding day gift. She was going to wear a pair of her Mom''s studs, so I figured why not get her a pair. I think $1100 (after the 4 prong settings) is pretty darn good. To bump up to 2 0.5 ct stones would have put me at closer to $2000...all to gain .4 mm on each stone. I just couldn''t justify it.

These could work, an important piece of info to know is what are the grade making inclusions that make these SI2 clarity? Can you link the grading reports please? Do you know if these are eyeclean?

One is a crystal and the other is crystal and cloud.

I''m having Blue Nile give me a visual check to ensure eye clarity. Honestly, I''m guessing they might not be. I would have loved to find a SI2 with feathers. That''s what my 2ct ER center stone has. They weren''t a durability issue (according to Dave Atlas) and they are totally invisible. Because the stones are so much smaller, I''m hoping that the inclusions will be tough to spot.

Also, on a somewhat related note, I went to Tiffany''s to see the difference b/w 0.8 cttw and 1.0 cttw. I couldn''t see the difference. The prices there were $5800 and $9000, respectively. They were VS1 E, so yes the clarity and color were better, but I was blown away by the price. I can understand why people buy from Tiff''s but studs seem like the worst purchase you could make. The quality isn''t going to be superior to an online ideal cut and nobody will know they''re from T&Co. (not that I''m endorsing the importance of it being from T&Co, but it does have appeal to many consumers) So wasteful, IMO

.41 will be a great size for studs!

Neatfreak got studs that size in the WF W prong settings and they looked really big and nice in her pics.

FYI-my pendant is .412 and I love it. I would make great earrings:"-)

Just found that thread...yeah they''re really nice. The other plus for me is that my fiance has really small earlobes. I didn''t really notice until last night, but it''s pretty sweet. These should look pretty big on her.
