I''ve sold a ton of stuff on Craigslist over the years.... air hockey table (went like a hot cake), sofas, chairs, cake pans, stereos, DH''s nasty plaid recliner I wouldn''t let into the house.....I''ve bought stuff as well (got a fabulous antique bedroom set for the guest room). At any rate, the best think I can tell you is to write good descriptions, include good pictures and be patient. Patience is almost the #1 thing IMO. People flake out, they try to get you to sell it for way less and they don''t show up. I''ve even had people have their friends email me posing as buyers trying to get the price down. They''re downright sneaky. And I know that''s what they were doing because they used company email and the address was too specific to be coincidental. Just trust your instinct and if something sounds fishy, run, but you know that already.
