GIA certs have legends that explan what the markings on the stone in question mean, but AGS certs. have no such thing. What should I make of an unbroken line on the edge of the stone in my AGS cert.? Is it a feather, crack, etc.?

A pro would have to see this to comment intelligently. Is there a scan of the cert anywhere that we can see?

Kind regards,

Does it help to know that the diamond is a VS2? Unfortunately, I don't know how to scan and post the copy of the cert. I do have.

VS2 means good. You can buy a loupe for $6 or $15 and look to where those marks are and try to see them. You may have a hard time seeing them with a VS2 unless you have a really good light and the stone is just-cleaned. SI1s, one grade lower, are pretty easy to see under 10x magnification but probably not with the eye.

Here are some VS2 images:

And here is a VS2 with the inclusion on the side -- which is good because you can hide it under a prong.

And this might be the best a VS2 can get as they are just specs:

Whereas this has larger inclusions and is still a VS2:
