Sorry, I am in a very giddy mood. I think 5.9mm will look very nice, the setting and your gf's ring size will factor in too of course.

You know what? Most pens are 6-7mm diameter... Otherwise, all pictures are 2D and would not help much.

You can also go to adiamondsisforever.com and use their "build your ring" tool: just select the "center stone" first so the profile of a round brilliant appears alone on the background and make it look 6mm (0.23-0.24 inch) on yor screen (regardless of what their in built weight scale looks like).

There is no way i could know what a picture will turn out like on your monitor... so it is easier to do it yourself.

Also, a certain site lines up diamond rings with different sizes on diamond in them (LINK)
