How big does MY diamond look?

Just curious, how big does my diamond looks judging by this picture? I know the picture is horrible, as I do not know how to crop pictures.

But I want to hear opinions of how it looks on my (kinda short and chubby) finger

**I absolutely LOVEEEEEEE my vvs1 diamond, and the platinum setting, but I am changing the setting up a bit in the near future. Will post good pictures when it's all completed**

It looks about the same size as mine, but mine's a pear (it's 1.33cts), so I guess yours is around the same size? I dunno... can't wait to see the answer (sorry if I'm hugely off!)

ETA, OK so I now realized that emerald cuts hold more weight. Assuming your diamond *looks* to be about 8x6, it'd be much closer to 2cts.

It looks to be around 1 ct plus, then again, everything also depends on your finger size. A stone will always appear larger on someone with smaller fingers as opposed to someone with large sized fingers.

I could be way off...but I''d guess .7 to .8 carats. I also bought my fiancee a emerald cut with a similar length to width ratio. I think that ratio makes the ring look large because it really matches the shape of a finger, giving it an even "longer" and bigger look!

No matter what size it is, it looks great!!! Have you started looking at wedding bands yet?

I tried on a 1 carat emerald when i was looking for my e ring and it looked really small compared to other shapes, and i have small fingers, your ring looks sizeable on your fingers.
