How are these Diamond proportions?

Question is will this produce a lot of fire? I saw it in person and it looks good problem is lighting in stores is obviously tailored to make even the dullest diamond sparkle. How do these angles look? crown to pavilion angle?

The diamond could potentially give you a lot of fire in fire friendly lighting environments. Clarity characteristics in this grade would be a factor to consider carefully. Grade setting inclusion type is twinning wisps which can sometimes impact transparency and overall light performance.

Why do you say that? What is not good about it in I’m your opinion? So I am getting it for $5800 with a trade in with a similar diamond (same color/clarity, 1.44ct). My budget isn’t super huge but I’m also not trying to get a crappy diamond. The diamond I have now exhibits a lot of fire and I love it, it just has bad history so I’m looking to trade.

Better proportions, significantly less included, and only 1k more. If paying an extra 1k can get you such a significantly better stone, I would do it.

Excellent cut from GIA is not nearly as 'excellent' as from AGS. Excellent cut from GIA is a much larger 'range' of numbers.

Unfortunately small numeric differences can make a huge difference in terms of look. Cut is the most important, and XXX cut is NOT sufficient for it to be considered "excellent" here on PS.

If you want the best and most firey stone, then I would consider a "super ideal" from vendors like Whiteflash (A Cut Above is their branded cut), Crafted By Infinity (purchasable from High Performance DIamonds), Brian Gavin Diamonds, or Victor Canera H&A. You will need to sacrifice size or color in order to get the best possible cut.

Table 55 - 58 ( 55 to 56 for more fire 57 to 58 more white light )

LGF 75 - 80 ( closer to 75 produces bold flashes )
( closer to 80 produces splintery flashes )

@Laila2754 if I am understanding this, you are tied to a trade situation with your jeweler on your most recent stone so suggestions for stones from online vendors here do you no good.
Do you mind sharing what the bad history is about with the current diamond?
