How are Starsgem's lab-grown melee cut quality and benchwork quality?

I've gotten quotes from both Tianyu and Starsgem for the same project, and Tianyu's quote was significantly more. Has anyone had any experience with Starsgem's lab-grown melee and can speak to the cut quality? Or any thoughts on the quality of their benchwork?

I have worked with both Tianyu and starsgem and recommend Tianyu 100%. They are more expensive, but IMHO its justified because their work is better, communication is smoother, etc.

I agree, Tianyu customer service is much better than SG.

I figured there was a reason for the pricing difference. This is helpful to know--thanks to both of you!

I worked with starsgem and I can’t fault the communication or the quality. I have worn my ring for about 18 months now (I had a halo semi Mount made so plenty of melee), I NEVER take it off so I shower, wash the dishes, sleep etc in it, literally never take it off and it still looks fantastic. I’ve had no issues at all ‍
I recently wanted to start another project and got quotes from both tianyu and starsgem and tianyu actually came back cheaper so I think it depends.

Oh, that's great to know Starsgem can do good work, and also interesting that it depends on the project whether or not they're cheaper. I'm still mulling over options, but thanks for sharing your experience.
