how and where to get rings sized

wife has great ring (of course) and need it resized. it is platinum. have some concerns about taking it and leaving it, that stones may be degraded. Is it rude to ask to to view with 10x before and after? any suggestions where in cincinnati area can go to have resizing? a trustworthy place?

Ring resizing is very common. Just be sure to go to a reputable jeweler.

Choose an old, established, high-end jeweler. They won't be interested in ruining their reputation and are used to customers with expectations that things be done well. It may cost a little more, but it will be worth it! This has always worked for me for repairs and resizing.
