I live in NH - been to Foxwoods, but not Mohegan yet. I don't know how I would feel being proposed to there. SO MANY PEOPLE. Wouldn't be very romantic - but I could be wrong. Guess it depends on how the moment feels. If it feels right - DO IT - BUT...we aware casinos have LOTS of crooks there, and I would be nervous carrying a ring around in a box.

I wouldn't be quite comfortable with the symbolic significance of proposing in a CASINO. It seems kind of like saying, "Hey, baby, want to gamble with your future?"

Why did it occur to you to propose there? Will you be there? If so, are you travelling there for a romantic trip of some kind? Or are you from Connecticut? I'd like some more information before venturing an opinion!

And I *am* from Connecticut! I was thinking, "Mystic" since it is so close to the casinos, but I thought you and your girlfriend might have some special memories attached to the Mohegan Sun!
