Sorry I just wanted to start a new thread and ask on here if this diamond looks good or keep looking? Thank you! I’m so overwhelmed we have looked at many and no luck
I’ve seen a couple i that look white so G,H, I
I agree on carat and long as measurements are there length no lower then 10.59 and width no smaller then 7.00
Also, I would reach out to Jon at Distinctive Gem in NYC. He is in the diamond district and would shop this for you. He also has a line that is cut to avoid bow tie. He is not showing one your size on site at the moment (one slighty smaller tho) https://www.distinctivegem.com/collections/opulence

Actually several at Whiteflash and vastly lower than Kay.
If you have exhausted all your options and can't get your money back, what about a stone from James Allen? I believe Kay's and JA have the same parent company.
I am NOT an oval expert, but this one looked promising...
Bow ties in ovals do not always present as dark areas in photos and video. It depends on the photo setup and light environment. A better way to assess is to look at the facet structure (actually the virtual facet structure). A prominent bowtie will make the ends look appreciably seperated by the midsection (the image in post #5 is a good example) . A minimal bowtie will result in an integrated facet structure that appears harmonious as the stone is viewed in motion.
If when you look at the stone your eye goes right to the midsection of the stone, that is probably a sign that the bowtie is distracting.
