I hate, hate, hate Vicky.

I am watching the show right now, and just cannot get over how disgusted I am with her and her attitude.

Vicky is so completely disrespectful to the newest girl Gretchen. And, to add insult to injury, actually thinks that Gretchen should "take" the hazing and flat out rude and hurtful comments just because she's the "new" girl...like they are in some private club instead of a group of grown women

. Not to mention the way she constantly berates her husband, and cuts him down...I am embarassed for him, and even more mortified for her--she thinks she's funny and hip, and she constantly acts like she's setting the bar, but really she's just trashy and immature.

Oh...and the little exchange between Vicky and Jeana...wow. Blaming Jeana for Vicky's bad real estate purchase. Whatever. If it had turned out thumbs up, it would have been all Vicky all the time...but since it failed, Jeana is to blame. Of course.

I hope Vicky gets a wake up call soon...soon, soon. I like the show, but cannot stand one more minute of this nutcase.

I agree! She''s annoying. Haven''t seen much of the new season but I laughed when her son made her cry when she surprised him at college. She is so self-absorbed!

I feel like Vicki has gotten progressively WORSE as the show continues to air. She wants to sell the vacation house that her kid(s) and husband like so SHE can have a yacht? I don''t get it.

Yeah yeah yeah. She''s horrible, too.

She married that guy and is now always going on and on about "how she deserves this" and "how long she waited for this"....she''s a greedy little b**** for sure! Its'' like Lauri struggled as a single mom for so long--and the other housewives who *had* money never really looked down on her for not having *as much* as they did...but now, Lauri sure looks down on these women big time.

Lauri keeps talking about how she is now raising seven children---but really two of her kids are full grown--Ashley, and the drug addict son, Josh. And Lauri is always really quick to cut her kids down--like Ashley, who is developing her cracker jack skin care line, Lauri is really into talking down about her daughters'' work experience and ability to make this happen. Nice mom, huh?

I actually think Lauri is dropping the show, Bravo keeps saying "One housewife will leave the show next week"...and think Lauri will probably be "it" because she doesn''t need the show anymore....so, why bother?

The only one I kind of like is Jeana...I think she''s the most realistic, and easiest to believe. She just is who is she...she''s not trying to be 21, or on a gold digging mission.

Oh, and I like this Gretchen girl, too. Yes...her fiance is much older....but she seems really mature for 30--like she is balancing everything, and genuinely seems like she cares. But...we just met her, we''ll see where she goes....

I agree. Unfortunately, they are really like this. My ex-roomate was friends with the kids of these women. He loved to brag about sleeping with one of them but I forget who it was.

I do like Gretchen, just because she seems much more mature and she is actually supporting her husband through his illness. I have only seen one episode this season so it is hard to decide about the others.

I watched it this morning at the gym. I couldn''t believe the two kids (I''m really bad with names) that didn''t want to go to Mexico, because one had just spent 2 weeks in Puerta Vallarta and the other one was "so over Mexico" because they''d been there every year. And they waited until only 20 minutes before they had to leave to decide not to go. Brats!!
I liked the housewives of NYC better.

they are all pretty annoying, esp. vicky and the "i''m the hottest" wife! i''m laughing as i write this! give me a break! they all look old and worn out, probably from too much sun! the beverly hills facials aren''t helping too much! i wonder if they cringe when they watch themselves on t.v. probably not, too self centered to be embarrassed! can''t wait until vicky''s kids up and leave, for good!

One thing I can say about Vicki is that I admire her work ethic, the same goes for Jeana. I know that those two work very, very hard for what they have. Vicki works on commission (well, Jeana does too) but you have to sell a hell of a lot of insurance to have that kind of lifestyle. It''s much harder than selling a 2.5 million dollar home and getting a 75K commission (3%).

The only thing is that she''s so freaking materialistic.

The new girl''s (gretchen?) boyfriend/fiance just died two or three months ago. His cancer came back. Not sure if that happened after the show finished filming or if it will be dealt with on the show.

I literally fast forward through it when Vicki is on...everything about her gets under my skin. Her voice, her mannerisms, her inability to calm down for 3 seconds, her extraordinarily controlling nature. Her manipulation. I do admire that she makes her own money, but it really seems that the only reason she wants to make money is so she can buy more things and prove to her self (and others) that she is successful.

Lauri has always driven me nuts, I can''t remember if she''s EVER worked, even when she was living in her townhouse (before she met her current husband--I think that was back when Jo was still on the show). I hated it when she would talk about how she lost all of her money when she divorced her ex...as though we''re supposed to feel sorry for her? Then instead of trying to make it on her own, she just shopped for a new husband. Now that she found one, she "deserves" it. Sorry, honey, you deserve an unemployment check at best and even that is pushing it if you ask me. How can she possibly deserve anything when she doesn''t provide anything for herself? Not to be catty (though I am),but she''s looking very old and I think she''s hating it.

I do love her horses, though.

I do like Jeanna. I liked her daughter, too. I wonder what happened to her.

The one I really cannot stand is Tamra. I can''t believe how she was yelling at her little girl!!!

I saw the commercial where they are hyping Josh going to jail next week. It will be very interesting to see how they show it vs. what was reported in the local media.

Interesting. How was it reported in the local media? You mean what you mentioned above -- that she turned him in?? Or, is there more to it than that?

I didn''t even realize from the preview that he did go to jail. I thought he was just suffering from addiction, and that''s what Lauri was crying about.

That''s very sad. I hope for the sake of his family that Gretchen is the one that dropped off the show if they realized that his condition was worsening.

I feel heartbroken hearing about Gretchen''s fiance...she''s so young to suffer such a heartbreaking loss....

And you''re right about Lauri being to busy being rich to be a Mom anymore...sad.

I hate to admit it, but, I hope that the bottom of Lauri''s perfect little life does drop out. I know that probably sounds awful but she''s just so selfish.

All of the Real Housewives series is a guilty pleasure for me. But the OC wives are my favorite.

I would like to offer an alternate view about Lauri's decision to turn in her son (if it is in fact true). It could be viewed as the loving act of a caring mother trying to save her son. I can't imagine what an agonizing decision that would be and it might just save his life. As for her work history- If my memory is correct, I believe that in the first season she worked with or for Vicki.

2. Lauri and George got a court order to have him evicted from the ex-wife''s house. The custody agreement between George and Gina (the ex) stated that no unrelated males over 18 were allowed to live in the house. How terrible that they would enforce that rule against Lauri''s son.

So he was left with nowhere to live, no money, no nothing. I can''t even imagine how he must have felt seeing Ashley get $600 hair extensions or Sophie taking riding lessons ($150/lesson at Sycamore!). Yes, Josh made some bad choices but I think he also got totally screwed over.

I think it's really sad that Lauri has left the show to "work on her family" now that the kid is in jail, but didn't have the foresight to "work on her family" beforehand and had been flim-flamming around on this show for the years leading up to his arrest.

It is a sad lifestyle for these seven children, several of which are now adults (!!!). Did her daughter ever go to college? Can you imagine having that much money to throw around, to put your children up in fancy, expensive condos, to pay for overpriced nonsense and not to have any bit of self-awareness to know that your child (24) should at least be in school and creating a life for herself?!?!? It is mind-boggling.

Also, I hate to sound catty or mean, but I was really distracted by Lauri's lips in her sit-down piece. She is getting to the point where she needs to cut back on the plastic surgery or botox or whatever. I felt really bad for her.

She is the PITS.

Its staggering to see someone so completely self-absorbed yet without a sprinkle of self-AWARENESS.

She berates her husband constantly & then pouts & throws a fit & cries if she doesn''t get affection (on demand -- as if that''s genuine anyway??). The relationships she has with her family are all based on bullying and bribery. From the way it appears on the show, her entire life is a *fabrication* of what a real life would be. She''s paying & shaming the "characters" in her life into behaving as she wish they would of their own volition. UNREAL!

It was nice to see Gretchen''s fiance light up around the track ... the part where he''s describing the racing world & his former participation in it. They do seem to care about each other - even though the age gap is so large, although they''re perhaps MOST interested in each other''s less wholesome aspects.

Nope, Ashley never went to college. There is much drama about her new "skin care line" because one of the reasons her investors gave her money is because she and her mom were on TV and would be able to promote it like that. Whoops! Not sure what is going to happen now that they aren''t on the show anymore...
