Hoping to buy this stone today - what are your thoughts?

Hi,

Many thanks to those who helped me with the last stone - I have now been offered another.

I would welcome your thoughts on this as if it receives an initial thumbs up I will go ahead and have it set tomorrow with the fall back of a 10 day returns policy - YIKES!

Its a GIA report so I appreciate I am missing some fairly crucial info.

I know the Table falls outside the boundaries and wondered how this might affect ''fire'' or any other aspect..

It is not feasible to predict what this piece will look like. Without having seen other diamonds, most likely you will like it - it is hard to find stones so badly cut that they are obviously unpleasant.

Those ideal proportiosn are not meaningless - only more or less important to different people. Between this and a by-the-book ideal cut, your choice is all that matters.

For the information given, it doesn't seem to bad, especially at only $1600.
