I''ve been lurking on and off for a little over a year now and decided to register today. I''ve gotten so much great advice on this site and have been bitten by the diamond bug!
I''m starting to work with Wink on a pair of hoop earrings, and hopefully down the line a tennis bracelet with the hand assembled setting. This will be my first custom piece (of probably many) and I am very excited~!
I am looking for a very thin pair of hoop earrings, maybe 2mm. 18kt yellow gold and maybe white down the line. I''ve attached pics from an ebay item I was looking at, but those are 2.5" vs my ideal diameter of 2." I was wondering if anyone has any advice on:
- Prong set vs. pave set?
- Does inside out mean that there are diamonds all around the outside and then all around the inside?
- Whats the best clasp that will be secure as well as look "seamless"
If you could post any pictures of large thin hoops as examples, I''d really appreciate it!
Thanks--
Meg
