Any suggestions for a reasonably effective and economical steam cleaner for home use? Ultrasonic isn't in the running because of the loosening issue.

Worries about the setting becoming loose and risking losing the stone. Not sure how major the risk is but since the person is worried about it there's no point in going that route and causing worry.

No idea on the yuppy code but loostening grime makes sense and would explain that belief.
