I am sitting in class, bored to tears, so I decided to surf the ''bay for ugly diamonds. I think this has to be the absolute worst cut diamond ever.

Never have I seen something so hideous.

Oh my, these are bad! I feel sorry for them, nobody is going to want these ugly ducklings...the only use I can see for them is to put them in one of those kid''s rock collections, where the rock is glued to the cardboard (loved those when I was a kid!)

I think this one is being shown the wrong way around, looks like a culet on the table to me.

You''re right Loreli-however, from the top, you could kind of tell it was a pear, but I thought the cut as viewed from underneath is absolutely horrendous!

I used to work with a woman who had a diamond ering that looked just like this one! (the round) It was around 5 carats, so I guess they were just going with size, but I swear, it looked like a dirty brown cracked rock. I couldn''t believe that she wore that ring.

the ring I attached was SO bad it got removed from the thread lol

BTW - that second diamond has something I like about it - but not when I think "diamond" more when I think "quartz".

I feel bad picking on these diamonds. I can''t help but think how I picked out my most special dog at the pound 2 hours before her date with the the gas chamber. She''s not a real looker either but she is the most wonderful dog ever.

I dunno, beauty is in the eye of the beholder?
