oh and I think our new ornament count is 45. We already plan on adding an extra tree next year

yay, bowl of balls!!! You must show us more! I'm still hunting for the perfect vases for my various mini-ornaments I've been collecting. I wonder if Michael's has them for good prices?

I'd hit up salvo shops for cheap glass ware. Also, apothecary jars look really nice filled with 'em.

I ended up making my own wreath, inspired by the one above, but more suited to my tastes. I have the skills (floral designer in a previous life) and it seemed silly to pay 100 bucks on etsy when I can make one for half the price in a half hour.

Now, I've just got to do the rest of the house. Oh... and buy a tree....

That is a beautiful wreath Gypsy! I don't have your skills at all. Could you tell me where you got that picture of the christmas wreath? I love it so much.

I made a wreath for our front door out of burlap and Deco Mesh this year, and I spent a little "fun money" on some new Razz ornaments for our main tree in the living room. My favorite pick was a snow white owl that reminded me of The Labyrinth (David Bowie as the owl for anyone who has seen and/or loves that movie--it's one of our favorites). I also did some shopping at Hobby Lobby and found some fantastic sparkly spiral picks to add, and used silver Deco Mesh as garland, anchored with floral wire. I'm getting craftier by the year. I had fun doing these projects!!

Love, love, love seeing everyone's decor and trees. Beautiful!

All the wreaths are beautiful. Gypsy you are talented! I know wreaths that look like that go for $80 (and UP).
Every year I am torn between getting a fresh wreath (and put some piks in it) and getting a wreath that I can use every year. So far, have been getting the fresh wreaths. What is nice is a few piks don't cost too much, and one can switch out the look, versus feeling you have to use the same wreath every year. But who knows, if I find the "perfect" wreath, I have the right to change my mind.

I decided we would go the home made route this year. We all sat down and made these. I'm rather proud of our colourful efforts

(ignore the wreath on the fire...we are trying to work out how to hang it on the front door. Nothing to fasten it to!)

That came from Ikea. They have it again this year, but they go fast. If they're out now, they'll probably have it again next year (early november) They also light up

Well since you said Holiday I will throw in a pic of the new table cloth I bought for Hanukkah. Usually we do more decorations, but because we now have 2 small children we decided this year to only decorate our dinning room where we could put stuff up high enough that it wouldnt' be a danger to our babies (all 4 of them: 2 toddlers and 2 dogs).

Davi - bravo! Look at all those jewel-like colors. Love the idea of a "rainbow" tree. Like how the abstract trees echo the shape of the sailboats in the artwork behind it. Exactly how many christmas trees do you have?
