I voted for the Tacori for the same reasons Honey, Melanie and Deelight posted.

DITTO - The head is too bleh on the HOF. Tacori vote here.

I don''t have much respect for Tacori because they de-valued their own name by mass-selling plated CZ junk on QVC home shopping network. Would you want people standing next to your fiance at a check-out counter to be thinking that your expensive ring is only costume jewelry? Aside from that, I agree that the setting is too busy. With the amount of money you''re willing to spend, you can find a more elegant and classy ring.
QVC was one of my concern too, but too bad I forgot to ask Tacori rep about it at the trunk show
I just received this picture of HOF and the design is very similar to Tacori''s
maybe I''ll consider this too

Thank You people for all the feedback and you are making my decision a lot easier

Tacori for sure! The taper of the shank and the lovely head are much more elegant than the design for the HOF. I don''t like how the head just looks stuck on to the HOF ring.

ooooh, this is lovely too! I like this HOF much better than the other one.

I like the new HOF setting. I''m a little biased though since I have a HOF setting.

I debated between that set and the one I bought. The 2510 is so gorgeous in real life! Especially as a set with the wedding band. Stunning!!!!

The 2nd HOF setting that you posted, I do not care for the head on the 1st one.

I tried on the first HOF setting you posted when I was looking for my ring. I didn''t like the way the head looked like it was plopped onto the band, but I did like that the w-band was flush with the e-ring. I like the second HOF setting you posted much better.

I like the Tacori or the 2nd HOF

I have the same "awful" head on my HOF ring

There are a few positives to note about it. You can wear your wedding band flush with your e-ring and it will look gorgeous. That particular head is a peg head. If you plan to upgrade your center stone, you can simply get a larger head to accomodate the larger stone. I''ve looked at the Tacori rings and they are lovely. The HOF have a different appeal and the side stones will sparkle like crazy. Choose whatever pleases you, but trust me on this, the HOF rings are beautiful

I can see where its a hard decision. If she wants tons of sparkle, her band to sit flush, and may upgrade later on I''d go with the HOF. Then again the Tacori is beautiful and that setting seems timeless too. Geez, I''m no help!

Tomorrow I will have the new released Tacori pictures that my jewerler promised me
And hopefully I can have the pricing for the 2nd HOF setting too
I will make my decision by the end of this week

TACORI ALL THE WAY.... not even a question, IMHO.... that Tacori is spectacular...
I agree with Emerald, I bet it''s gorgeous top down....

KEEP US POSTED... SHE''S A LUCKY LADY EITHER WAY

The second HOF setting is beautiful I like that one as well, I say either that or the Tacori whichever you and your FF like better :)

Definitely Tacori. It`s a beautiful classic look. Eventhough I like HOF jewellery, I don''t like the stuck-on head of this particular ring.

Here is a picture of new released Tacori setting

I can appreciate what you are saying about the "sell out" of Tacori - it seems to me that a lot of designers of all sorts of things (jewllery, clothing, food) sell out for more money, but that being said, I have always felt that the only person who should be completely happy when looking at the ring is the wearer. I am aware that some might stand next to me at the supermarket and "question" in their mind about whether my ring is real or not, but the I know that it is, and my feelings about my ring are the only feelings that matter. What anyone else thinks is extraneous noise. Go for the one that "speaks" to the giver and the receiver.
