You know birch box? Beauty box? Carnivore club? Etc? All those subscription boxes you can get in the mail? Well I was looking at all of the amazing options when I thought to myself: these are rad but I could make one better I betcha! And so I recruited my bff, and we’re making boxes for each other! We are deal-getters who know each other really well, so this is going to be great!

I’m going to put in things like tea, socks, nail polish... and jewellery! If you happen to see anything on eBay (keep in mind that I live in Canada) that is ~$10 and yellow gold, let me know! She would be thrilled to get some longboard in her box and it would really jazz it up :)

I’ve been looking at baby rings and bracelets lol. My friend’s ring size is 3.5 and she has very dainty wrists. I think she’d even enjoy a delicate gold chain necklace. She loves everything dainty and thin. And yellow gold only!
 
I might try looking for brooches, too. Earring studs might be cheap... so many options! :D

It’s the shipping that’s gonna kill me. Blargh!
 
I saw a big chunky YG class ring for around 10 bucks, t'would be cheating though as it was gold plated.:bigsmile:

Haha that sounds awesome!! But more my style than my friend’s. She doesn’t like anything big. Which helps with my budget!! Lol
 
Does it have to be 'proper' gold?:tongue:
 
10k or 14k is preferred (haha a girl can dream!) but I know much budget makes more sense for gold-plated. I’ll take what I can get! But with gold-plated the downside is that she’d love it and then it would slowly become less gold and then maybe she’d be sad!
 
Hmm I think in my price range I’m looking for gold tone or gold plated! So far I’ve found a bee brooch, an arrow tie clasp, and some midi rings. Fun options! I’m hoping to find “real” gold though. If you guys find anything cute, let me know!

I’m off to Sephora to use my points to scoop up a freebie to add to the box :) yay!

Kimmy used to start it every year in December and we used to have a blast trying to outdo each other with the ugliest ornament we could find and we certainly found some uglies!

So we're on for this year for sure.:lol:

Personally, I’m in love with the bee bracelet because the two birthstones are mine and my baby’s! <3

@Lorelei it's a date! I love this!! BTW....if we're able to find cute $10 gold pieces...whose up for a PS Secret Santa? Though I'm not sure how we'd organize this with soooo many PS'ers scattered across the globe!

For $10.00 I'd scan Ebay for a nice gemstone of some sort which you should be able to find and then let your friend set it herself.
 
Yay! Found something to do with my insomnia and an idea to snatch. Fun!

I think all of these are either gold (not gold filled) or have incorporated gold elements, but it is late, so, who knows? (One is not jewelry, but it can hold jewels.)
