It *is* really cute now, but goodness yes we should probably train her out of it while we can - we think she's going to be about 80lbs fully grown!! She's still trying to make friends with the cats and of course since they bat at her... she bats back, only of course they're a LOT faster and more agile!

We had a playdate with the neighbours' year-old mammoth lab the other day. Poor Emily clearly had no idea that bounding up to him and batting at him wasn't the way dogs play, and the other pup just stood there shaking his head in confusion

Yssie--DH and I can't bear the thought of losing another beloved pet so we are holding off on getting a new dog. She was our first "baby" for the 1st nine years of our marriage before the kids came along! This is one of the last pics I took of her:

Oh no... I'm so sorry. Livi is my first. Got her the moment DH and I got married. She's 6 now but I'm already worrying about my life without her... She's my baby. I don't know how I'm going to cope... I hope you're doing well!
