Who Hi from the UK

I've been lurking for a while and thought I should finally say hi. I live in the UK and I've always liked shiny things, even as a small child. I definitely have an inner magpie.

I am in envy of all the beautiful jewellery that people in other countries have been posting about. I don't feel that there are as many options for custom jewellery or precision cut stones in the UK.

I have a small collection of jewellery with precious stones/metals and a bigger collection of synthetic/costume jewellery to keep costs down.

My birthstone is sapphire and I have a blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring, but I've wanted a purple sapphire for a while now, so I'm getting Caysie from CVB (based on reading this forum) to make me one. I'll post about that separately.
