I have finally received my ring. I was trying to decide between an H, VS2 and an H, SI1, and ultimately, I got the H, VS2. I was so nervous making this purchase but everyone here was so helpful. Special thanks to Ellen.

I have to say that Good Old Gold was AMAZING to work with. I can''t believe how easy everything went.

I have absolutely no idea how to post pictues here, but I''ll work on it.

But let me say that finding you all and Pricescope has been a real gift.

Now I can''t wait to get my next diamond...

OH MY GOSH!! You came back! I was certain I''d never hear from you again. (it happens)

Yay on your purchase!!

Details woman!

And yes, GOG is great to work with. I had to laugh at you being so nervous about it and now you''re ready for the next purchase. I was the exact same way.

I''ll give you a link that has info on how to post pics. If that doesn''t help, email the administrators and they will be kind enough to post them for you. And I want a bunch!

*LOL* You are too cute, Ellen. Well, what ended up happening is that GOG sent both stones to an appraiser in Dallas so that I could see them side by side. And, although I couldn''t even see the inclusion in the SI1, I just prefered the way the light played with the VS2. It came with the AGS000 cert and all the other reports that GOG supplies, and I had it set in a platinum knife edge 4-prog tiffany style ring. Ellen, when I opened the box and saw it (although I had already seen it before) I just about gasped!! I couldn''t be more pleased. I wasted alot of energy being nervous, but it is indeed a large purchase over the internet (a large purchase period for that matter). Jonathan and his team at GOG are second to none, as is pricescope and the wonderful people you meet here that give you honest, informed feedback. Listen, Ellen, it has been so much fun talking to you and reading your posts. You often crack me up. I will get busy working on posting pics. I hope I can capture one as beautiful as yours.

Again, thanks for all the information, and hand-holding. Pricescopers "rock"...(i wonder how makes times that pun has been made...

Yay, congratulations!!! It''s always nice when people come back and share their happy endings! I would love to see some pictures.

I was nervous about my first internet diamond purchase as well. Thankfully it went great, and the experiences with trusted online vendors have been actually much better than my other experiences.

Yeah!!!!!

Don't worry about being nervous; we all go throught that. I would have gone with an I knowing what I know now instead of a G. hehehe

How lucky for you that you got to choose! If that one spoke to you, then that was the one to get.

And you picked a classic setting. I bet it is gorgeous!!

I TOTALLY understand about the size of this purchase and being hesitant. As I''ve said to people before, it takes a real leap of faith to plunk down many thousands of dollars and trust someone you can''t even see. It just goes against what we''ve usually learned.

It''s also kind of sad for me that I''ve finally found such honest, caring jewelers, and they''re thousands of miles away. I tried shopping locally, disasterous would best describe it.

No need to thank me, I had fun helping you! And I''m waiting patiently, sorta, for those pics.
