I received my hexagon cut 1.5 tcw diamonds cut by Ouros. One of them has a bit of a window, but given the affordability, the lack of return policy for custom stones is understandable. Since it’s going in an earring, I’m not overly bothered by it, but I don’t think I’d have them custom cut an engagement ring or anything.
I asked my local jeweler to make me a setting like this, but all in 18K yellow gold:
The tops will be 0.10 ct rubies and the drops will be the hexagon diamonds. Both with milgrain, to match my wedding ring:
Hopefully they’ll turn out nicely, this is my first time having something custom made.
