For those of you that think that this setting can fit nothing but a cushion, here you go. Set with a round sapphire.

http://cgi.ebay.com/2-75CT-CEYLON-SAPPHIRE-DIAMOND-14K-WHITE-GOLD-RINGS_W0QQitemZ220313071913QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGemstone_Rings?hash=item220313071913&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A10%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1309

I wonder if he got the idea from my posting since I''ve been showing my round diamond in my LOGR all over the place . . . rather obnoxiously I might add.

The sapphire looks like it has some heavy zoning, and it''s a bit too deep and therefore sitting too high in that setting. We also don''t know if it''s beryllium diffused. However, I think it shows that there are more options with this setting than we originally thought.
