Hello, Agent. This is my first post on Pricescope although I''ve been lurking here since I accidentally stumbled upon this site last September. I''m looking for a ring myself and I love the look of your ring and hope your proposal goes well. I was following your previous thread and am curious as to why you eventually went with the six prong as I thought you were going to get the four prong.........most posters on your previous thread seemed to prefer the four prong. I can''t make up my mind myself. I think perhaps the six prong is more secure but people seemed to suggest that it would be too much metal with a smaller diamond. I''ll probably be getting a .5ish carat myself. Your six prong looks good in the photos. I assume it looks even better in reality.

I was originally in favor of the 4 prong setting. I had always seen people with it, in fact I think I only saw 1 or 2 people with a 6 prong in real life so I didn''t really have much exposure to it. After looking at pictures for a few days and checking some out at the local B&M, my opinion started changing. Yes I like the six prong because it might be a little safer, although it might not. But it can''t hurt for possibly a little more saftey. Also I just became a fan of the way it looks. After seeing some in person I realized it did not take away from the diamond and it wasn''t too much metal. I also was a fan of how the 6 prong made the diamond seem more round as compared to a 4 prong setting. All in all the 6 prong grew on me until I loved it and now after having the diamond, I wouldn''t change it. Hope you have good luck for your search. If ya have any questions I might be able to help you with, please let me know, I would be glad to help.

Just got around to checking out your thread --- looks like you got an awesome stone and I really like it in the 6 prong setting. I just traded up my J for an I colored stone, and if yours looks anything like mine does, your girlfriend will flip! I is really my sweet spot now for color!

Just an updated for all interested parties. This weekend went perfectly as planned and I can now say I am officially engaged. She and everyone so far that has seen the ring love it. They all can''t believe how much it sparkles. I will probably post some hand pictures tonight for all to enjoy!!!

I worked with Katie @ WF. She was great to work with. Any questions I had she would reply extremely quick via e-mail or phone if I was available. Originally I placed my order for my ring on Friday and it was to be shipped out the following Tuesday. However I wanted the "Tiffany" style ring in 18k and they had to custom make it, at no extra charge, because the standard they receive is 14k. This pushed the ring back another 14 days. So if you order a ring that they don''t have to custom make, it would probably be shipped out in 2-3 days, and you receive it the next day after they ship it. I too would highly recommend them. They are really great people there.

I have worked with a Celina, while Im sure they can be very busy....my experience has been very dissapointing to this point. Im actualy going to ask to work with someone else. Im in a situation where its hard to call in....and I share a phone with the girlfriend so I cant use that. 2 weeks ago I checked on Diamonds...and because of a Holliday they havent been able to get me the info. I was suppose to hear yesterday....and still nothing.

I need it by May 10......so Im frustratedat this point. Ill have to ask for Katie...
