I wish I had a fun name for this gorgeous ring but for now, I’ll just share all her beauty!!
It was a bit of a journey to get to this point - I debated diamond shapes for months but finally settled on upgrading my Whiteflash ACA - took many more months agonizing over color and clarity (size was easy, the bigger, the better!!!). They sent me a video of my old stone (I color, 1.3 carats) with a 3 carat I and a 3.3 carat J - the J appeared to face up whiter than the I, and the size was noticeably larger, so I nervously decided on that stone.
For the setting, I originally wanted something pretty blingy but was exhausted from all of the other decisions so kept it simple and took the advice from many wonderful people here and selected the vatche u-113 setting.
It’s been four long weeks and some crazy running around the city of Miami trying to get the package (long story!!) but I finally got the ring of my dreams tonight! I was SO nervous to open the box, so scared I made a mistake going down to a J color but when I opened the box, I gasped. The stone was as clear as water and so bright and full of life! I’ve never seen anything like it. I know this forum is full of brilliant diamond experts and I was just so nervous about seeing a tint in the J color but it is perfection to me - I’ll be anxious to see it in different settings, but I can tell it won’t be anything that will bother me. The sparkle of an ACA is unlike any other stone - plus the VS1 clarity just adds to its beauty. Surprisingly, I really like the delicate setting, too!
Unfortunately it is late so I couldn’t get a lot of pics but I am sure I will spam everyone here with more in the coming days.
