Back in May, I posted that I had tried on what was called a Vivida cut diamond. I didn''t go with that one as round is my favorite shape. You all were so kind in giving me direction and what to look for...After a lot of reading on site, this is the one that we picked...I wanted the best cut for number one and at least a carat, and of course, the best of whatever I could get! The jeweler that showed me the Vivida diamond showed me some other diamonds and I fell for this one, about the 5th he showed me (I also went to another couple jewelers and didn''t like the ones they had). It was a loose diamond and on the same day that I saw this one, he had just gotten in a setting. I had been thinking of having it set in a halo setting, but this just seemed so perfect for it, that I changed my mind and got this setting. I just got a digital camera at Christmas and still not sure how to get best picture, but you can get an idea of the ring.
Here are the specks and hope I am listing it right.
AGS certified (with number on diamond)
Round Brilliant
Measurements 6.87 - 6.91 x 4.24 mm
Cut Grade AGS 0
Polish Ideal
Symmetry Ideal
Color H
Clarity AGS 5 (SI1)......It is really hard to see any imperfections with the 10x loop
1.245 carats
Florecence Neg
Table 57.8%
Crown 14.8%
Pavillion 43.1%
Depth 61.6%
Girdle Faceted 1.6% - 3.9%
pointed
There''s a couple other percentages I don''t know what they mean, or remember
35.o% above the girdle and 40.9% below, must be angle of the cuts?
The setting is has 12 diamonds, about 1 carat, 18 Kt gold with Platinum mounting for diamonds. I think that is all, and the wedding ring is 1 kt, 14K
Thanks for everyones help.
Can you only attach one picture at a time? I have to figure this out.
